TRAIN FOR PERFORMANCE

THIS PAGE IS FOR COMPETITIVE ATHLETES:

Let's say that you spend 20 hours per month working out. For some people, that's beyond difficult and for others, that's a slow month. My point is that over many months and years, you have probably done tens of thousands of reps, hundreds of miles and buckets of perspiration.
Imagine for one moment....that from now on...the hours and hours you put in will actually change you as an athlete.  Do you always have things like sore shoulders? sore knees and back? As long as you haven't let things go so that you are now fighting degenerative disease, I can help you there, too.
Training for performance means that you have a willful purpose in the movements you make in the gym. In other words, you know WHY that you are doing the exercise you are doing. You know how it will all connect to improving you in either your sport or structurally and physically. If you don't know what every exercise that you do is doing for you....it's time to find out.
It's time to call me for a consultation. A free one. But one that could change your life.

Steve Kemp: 3 Time World, 8 Time U.S. National Masters athletic champion and former Olympic decathlete.

You know that you have overall body supporting "Core strength" when you can do this move and hold it for 5-10 seconds. The purpose of improving core strength is simply to get to the point where you don't notice it is being a weakness. Our bodies will always find our "weakest link" and then exploit it when we try to use it in sports and exercise. If you golf, swim, run or play any sport that involves a ball, core is key. And to develop that you need a series of "complete body moves". Core CANNOT be isolated and get you anywhere! So stop doing those 1,000 situps and crunches!
